History & Development

The German based company gempex GmbH was founded by the todays CEO Mr. Ralf Gengenbach in 2002 with the main intention to provide comprehensive and high quality GMP related consultancy and support services. Starting in Mannheim, in the southern part of Germany, the company grew up from originally 15 to today’s more than 70 employees, most of them technicians, engineers, and scientist (bachelor, masters and PhD degree). While the management and senior consultants with partly more than 15 plus years of experience in GMP provide the high-level compliance consultancy, technicians and validation engineers support in the execution of qualification, validation and GMP documentation projects. More than 200 projects each year with a sales of more than 5 Mio Euro are managed for the API, the pharmaceutical, the biopharmaceutical, the cosmetic, the medical device, and the food/ feed industry respectively. With today totally four different offices in Europe (Mannheim, Karlsruhe, Wehr, Sisseln CH).
