Applied Materials Acquires Perceptive Engineering

November 2020 – Applied Materials has acquired Perceptive Engineering Ltd., headquartered in Manchester, UK, a leader in advanced process control and model predictive control in the pharmaceutical industry. Perceptive' s PharmaMV® advanced process control (APC) platform complements Applied Materials’ SmartFactory Rx® portfolio by bringing the value of multi-variate data analysis, model predictive control, and machine learning algorithms to the pharmaceutical industry.
