Usage |
Cycloastragenol, belongs to the triterpene saponins, is mainly obtained from the hydrolysis of Astragaloside IV. Cycloastradiol is the only telomerase activator found today. It delays the shortening of telomeres by increasing telomerase. Cycloastradiol is believed to have anti-aging effects.
Due to the relatively large molecular weight of astragaloside and its dissolution inertia, its relative bioavailability in the body is insufficient, which limits its development and promotion as a drug.
Cycloastragenol (cycloastragenol) is a sapogenin of astragaloside IV. Cycloastragenol is the main hydrolyzed metabolite of astragaloside IV in the intestine and the components absorbed into the blood. It has a relatively small molecular mass and strong lipophilicity, which is conducive to biomembrane penetration and gastrointestinal absorption to achieve better bioavailability.
