Usage |
L-tryptophan is one of the essential amino acids for human body. L-tryptophan can be used in maternal nutritional health products and infant formula milk powder; It can be used to treat niacin deficiency; It can also be used as a tranquilizer to regulate mental rhythm and improve sleep.
Funciton of L-tryptophan:
1. Some people with sleep disorders take L-tryptophan supplements to help them fall asleep.
2. The level of L-tryptophan in patients with depression is low. Some people claim that supplementing 6 grams of L-tryptophan every day may be beneficial to improve mood or avoid mental health disorders (such as depression), but the current research results can not support this claim.
3. Some women take L-tryptophan supplements to relieve mood swings caused by premenstrual syndrome (PMS), also known as premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). Theoretically, these premenstrual emotional problems may be related to the formation of serotonin in the body, and L-tryptophan has a certain effect on the formation of serotonin.
