Hesperetin dihydrochalcone is an antioxidant flavonoid that induces G1-phase cell cycle arrest. It is also anti-inflammatory, suppressing NF-κB activation and reducing cholesterol biosynthesis. Hespertin is also neuroprotective against neuronal oxidative damage.
