ASUM is a multidisciplinary society whose mission is to advance the clinical practice of diagnostic medical ultrasound for the highest standards of patient care.

The Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine’s (ASUM) governance structure is one of a public company, limited by guarantee.

ASUM is governed by a Board of Directors (ASUM Council) elected by the Membership as per the ASUM Constitution. The Board of Directors appoint a Chief Executive Officer to administer the organisation.

ASUM has over 3,500 members, 9 full-time staff, 6 part-time staff members and hundreds of member volunteer positions on various committees.

The Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine is excited to announce that the 48th Annual Scientific Meeting will be held in Auckland, New Zealand.

We anticipate this to be a cutting edge program to meet the needs of all practitioners involved in ultrasound and look forward to welcoming you to the 2018 Congress.
