Overview
Dental trauma is a common disease in Stomatology. Especially the incidence is higher in adolescents. In recent years, the incidence of dental trauma is increasing year by year. It has caused more and more serious harm to people. Therefore, it has received more and more attention from stomatologists.
In 1989, the First International Conference on Dental Trauma was held in Stockholm, Sweden, and the International Association for Dental Trauma was established. Doctors interested in dental trauma research were gathered to provide the public with the best prevention and treatment against dental trauma. On the basis of evidence-based medicine, the treatment principle of dental trauma and the biological process of healing after dental trauma are expounded in detail. China started late in the field of dental trauma research, but under the leadership of the Professional Committee for Stomatological Emergency Management of the Chinese Stomatological Association, the fundamental and clinical research in this field has developed rapidly. However, up to now we must realize that many chinese dentists lack the concept of standardized diagnosis and treatment methods as well as systematic training for dental trauma. In order to further promote the standardized treatment for dental trauma in China and to provide a platform for dentists at home and abroad to learn from each other, the First China International Congress on Dental Trauma will be held in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, from June 21 to 23, 2019. The conference was co-sponsored by the International Association Dental Traumatology and the Professional Committee for Stomatological Emergency Management of the Chinese Stomatological Association, and hosted by the Professional Committee for Stomatological Emergency Management of the Chinese Stomatological Association
This Symposium focuses on the promotion of international standardized diagnostic and therapeutic criteria for dental trauma, as well as the fundamental research on dental trauma and clinical transformation, representing the forefront of the fundamental and clinical research on dental trauma. At that time, many well-known dental traumatologists from all over the world will discuss the frontier topics of the fundamental and clinical research on dental trauma, and launch an academic feast for us. We will have the opportunity to get close close contact with world-class experts in the field of dental trauma, and listen to the most advanced international diagnostic evidence and treatment methods.
