The 2017 GreatWall International Translational Andrology and Urology Forum Huaxia Medical Forum-Geni

The 2017 GreatWall International Translational Andrology and Urology Forum & Huaxia Medical Forum-Genitourinary (GU-HMF 2017 & GITAU 2017) will be held at Grand Metropark North York Hotel, Shenyang, Liaoning, China, August 11-13, 2017. The GU-HMF 2017 & GITAU 2017 are hosted by the China International Exchange and Promotional Association for Medical and Health Care (CPAM) and is co-sponsored by the Genitourinary Medical Association of China International Exchange and Promotional Association for Medical and Health Care (GUA-CPAM) and The Fourth Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University. Co-organizers include the National Urogenital Tumor Research Center, the Department of Urology and Andrology Center of Peking University First Hospital, and the Journal of Translation Andrology and Urology (TAU).

Prof. Ying-Lu Guo, the academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; Prof. Tom F Lue, professor of urology at University of California, San Francisco; and Prof. Ze-Yi Cao, the former chairman of CPAM, are the honorary presidents of the convention. Prof. Zhong-Cheng Xin, the chairman of GUA-CPAM and professor of urology, Peking University First Hospital, serves as the chairman of the convention. Prof. Ping Wang, the vice chairman of GUA-CPAM and professor of urology, The Fourth Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University, is the executive chairman.

The themes of this year’s meeting are “minimally invasive genitourinary surgery and advances in the treatment of urologic calculi”. The goals of the meeting are to serve as a gateway for both basic science researchers and clinicians to acquire the most up-to-date knowledge and technical advances in various fields of genitourinary medicine and sexual medicine; to introduce the modern concept of Translational Medicine; to promote basic and clinical research; and ultimately to improve the diagnosis and treatment of genitourinary diseases and sexual dysfunction.
