use Acetaminophen (paracetamol) is an inhibitor of selective cyclooxygenase -2 (COX-2), with IC50 value of 25.8μ m. It is a widely used antipyretic and analgesic.

This product is an antipyretic analgesic. It selectively inhibits the synthesis of prostaglandins in hypothalamic thermoregulatory center by inhibiting cyclooxygenase, causing peripheral vasodilation and sweating to achieve antipyretic effect. Its antipyretic effect intensity is similar to aspirin. It has analgesic effect by inhibiting synthesis and release of prostaglandins and the like and improving pain threshold. It belongs to peripheral analgesic and has weaker effect than aspirin, and is only effective for mild and moderate pain. This product has no obvious anti-inflammatory effect.
