Main applications: 1. This product is used in sealants, adhesives and coatings to promote dry and wet adhesion to difficult-to-bond substances such as glass, metal and concrete. The silyl-based part of this product is polycondensed with an inorganic surface to form a strong chemical bond, while the amino part is covalently bonded to the base resin of an adhesive or sealant.
2. This product is especially suitable for non-primer one-component room temperature curing polyurethane systems. Room temperature curing includes two steps: the reaction of isocyanate with water and the crosslinking reaction of silane.
3. The alkoxysilane structure of silane KH-1170 allows each isocyanate to have a bissilyl group, thereby providing more durable wet adhesion and more effective bonding.
