Decoquinate premix is an oral preparation for the prevention of coccidiosis in broilers, new chickens, turkeys, cattle and rabbits. The main component of the preparation is Decoquinate, it has an obvious broad-spectrum anti coccidian effect on the main species of coccidiosis. It stops the development of the first generation of coccidia and also has an effect on oocysts spore.

Mechanism 

The drugs acts on the agamogenesis phase of coccidia. Decoquinate premix stops the propagation of coccidia spores by interfering DNA synthesis after it enters into the daughter archespores, Decoquinate premix comes into effect in the early stage of coccidia life. Hence, it can avoid the damage of poultry intestine, which can help farmers gain higher economic profit.
