Product Characters

1. Under normal temperature and pressure, the product is a colorless, clear and volatile liquid with a scent of ether and a sweetish flavor;
2. Its melting point is -96.7℃, its boiling point is 40℃. There is no flash point for individual methylene chloride. Its density is 1.336g/cm3(20℃);
3. It is soluble in ethanol and ether but slightly in water.

Main Application

1. The product serves as coating solvent, metal degreasing, aerosol, polyurethane foaming agent, safety photographic film, and polycarbonate. It is an excellent solvent.

Packing, Storage & Transportation

1. steel drum or ISO tank packing;
2. The product is packed in galvanized/coated steel drums or ISO tanks. It should be kept in dry and well-ventilated place, away from sunlight and raining.
3. Transportation should comply with the Chinese railway and road transportation regulations concerning hazardous cargo.
