Apparance:Clear, faint yellow to light green liquid, soluble in water, methanol, ethanol and DMSO.

A member of natural phenols, naturally isolated from Olea europeae, majorly in fruits and leaves.

Traditonally, Hydroxytyrosol is the by-produt extracted from Olive Oil mill wastewater.

The application intends to add hydroxytyrosol to fish and vegetable oils up to 215 mg/kg and to margarines up to 175 mg/kg.
