Indan: purity above 99%, reagent grade, 192kg / barrel. Colorless liquid. It is insoluble in water and soluble in alcohol, ether and other organic solvents in any proportion. Melting point - 51.4 ℃. The boiling point is 178 ℃, 98 ℃ (9.33kpa), the relative density is 0.9639 (20 / 4 ℃), the refractive index is 1.5378, and the flash point is 50 ℃.

Application: ninhydrin is used as shock absorber of aviation fuel and rubber industry. Its derivatives can be used in more than 20 kinds of medicine, and can also be used in organic synthesis industry as solvent. Dihydroindene can be cracked to produce benzene products.

The annual output is 10000 tons.
