Lutein, also known as carotenoid, carotene, Lutein, Lutein, Lutein, marastin and Lutein, is C40H56O2 with a relative molecular weight of 568.85.Orange powder, pulp or liquid, insoluble in water, soluble in hexane and other organic solvents.

Usually found in green leafy vegetables.Lutein itself is an antioxidant and can absorb harmful light such as blue light.
