Product Description

Lutein Oil Suspension 20% is a brownish-yellow to reddish-brown liquid of natural mixed carotenoids in sunflower oil. The mixed carotenoids are extracted from marigold flower and comprise primarily lutein, as well as small amounts of zeaxanthin. Gentle warming less than 40°C and thorough mixing before use will homogenize the product.

Storage and Stability

The product may be stored for 24 months from the date of manufacture in the unopened original container and at room temperature.

It should be protected from light, heat, oxygen and moisture. Keep the container tightly closed. Once opened, use contents quickly.

Uses

As a coloring agent and a nutrient for oil-based food such as margarine and edible oil. Also suitable for manufacturing soft-shell capsules.
