The introduction of bile acids

Runeon is the patent product manufactured by Shandong Longchang Animal Health Product Co., Ltd, which has been approved as new
type functional feed additive by the Ministry of Agriculture in China in 2014, its main active ingredients of bile acids.

Ingredient: Min30% Bile Acids, 70% Corn Starch Max

The physical and chemical properties of bile acids are as below
The key structure of bile acids is Twenty-four carbon Cholane carboxylic acid with Cyclopentane Polyhydrogen as the core. The
general molecular formula of bile acids shows as the structure R1, R2, R3 and R4 stand for hydrogen radical, hydroxide radical and
other substituent groups respectively. Bile acids are the metabolite of cholesterol during the process of intrahepatic
decomposition and hepatoenteral circulation.

What’s bile acids?

Runeon, the main active ingredients are bile acids, during the process of fat utilization bile acids take very important roles in
emulsification, digestion and absorption. And make up its body lack of bile, protect liver/Hepatopancreas health.

Emulsification: bile acids have a special structure with both hydrophilic element and lipophilic element, which can emulsify fat
into little fat droplets.

Digestion: bile acids can active lipase by binding with lipase and change its spatial structure.

Absorption: fatty acids can only be absorbed via small intestinal epithelial cell membranes by combining with bile acids into
micelles.

As carrier, bile acids can transport fatty acids through the intestinal villi surface and then bile acids would apart from the
micelles and travel into the enterochepatic circulation.

The bile acids secreted from animals’ liver, high fat high energy in feed and toxins, mycotoxins endotoxins and heavy metals do
great harm to the liver. The product bile acids can make up the deficiency of bile secretion, release the heavy burden of liver,
combine and decompose toxins. 

Bile acids function on shrimp:

1. For shrimps and other crustaceans which could not secret bile salts and cholesterol, adding Runeon could promote metamorphosis
and shorten the molting time，and promote weight gain.
2. Replace part of the cholesterol, reduce feed cost
3. Protect the health of hepatopancreas and intestine， with bright and translucent body, clear white membrane, strong and health
intestine, good shape of feces.
