Profile

Profiles make it possible to reliably seal large areas against external influences. Typical examples are doors of tablet presses or mixers. One big advantage is the easy opening and closing of these doors. Additionally, profiles offer a very long service life. Freudenberg Sealing Technologies has developed a special vulcanization process. Thanks to the production of the joint and the cord out of the same material a uniform quality of the seal is achieved. The portfolio includes different elastomer materials, such as 80 EPDM 472 or 70 EPDM 391. 

One preferred option for the pharmaceutical industry is inflatable profiles. The advantage is that the seal does not stick to the door frame, which could possibly cause damages. Inflatable profiles from Freudenberg Sealing Technologies consist of a perfectly matched seal and valve for controlling the supply of compressed air.
