【Chemical composition】: Its roots contain a variety of flavonoids, the main active ingredients are daidzein, daidzin, puerarin, puerarin-7-xyloside (puerarin-7- xyloside), etc. Puerarin is the extract of kudzu, the synonym of puerarin, the molecular formula is C21H20O9, the molecular weight is 416.37, and it is a white needle-like crystal in methanol-acetic acid.

[Source of raw materials]: Pueraria in Japan is mainly produced in Nagano and Gifu prefectures. China is produced in Hunan, Henan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Zhejiang, Sichuan, China Taiwan and other provinces. Also produced in Korea. Perennial deciduous vine, up to 10m long, the whole plant is covered with yellow-brown shaggy hairs.
