OVERVIEW: Flibanserin may modestly improve sexual function (10% higher than placebo) in premenopausal women with sexual desire disorder (HSDD), who are severely less interested in sex. For men, fluibanasine is different from sildenafil (Vergon) in that sildenafil is taken before need (before sex) and has an effect by increasing blood flow to the penis. Flibanserin must be taken daily, and it acts on the regulatory areas of the brain. Flibanserin has serious potential side effects, including very low blood pressure, fainting, nausea, etc. If a woman consumes alcohol or takes birth control pills, these risks increase and become more severe.
Indications: Fluiban seramide has been shown to have an affinity for 5-HT1A and 5-HT2 receptors, making it a promising therapeutic agent for the treatment of a variety of diseases, such as depression, schizophrenia, Parkinson's, anxiety disorders, sleep disorders, sexual and psychiatric disorders, and age-related memory impairments.
Uses: Flurisamin is an agonist of serotonin-5HT1A receptor and an antagonist of 5-HT2A receptor. Binding to dopamine receptors, Ki values range from 4-24 nM. It is used to treat female hypolibido. |
