At present, most pharmaceutical companies in my country use artificial light to detect visible foreign matter in injections in a darkroom. This rigid method usually involves a lamp inspector sitting in front of a special lamp detector in a darkroom, holding the container, gently rotating and flipping the container to suspend or move visible foreign matter in the liquid.
The artificial light detection method is simple, but has many disadvantages. Compared with automatic light measurement, it is mainly reflected in the following aspects:
(1) In terms of detection accuracy, the vision of the human eye is limited. The maximum value of visible light particles is about 50-80m, while the maximum value of visible light particles can be detected by light detectors as low as 40m, which is much higher than the vision of the human eye.
(2) The automatic light inspection machine has low detection efficiency and slow detection speed. Take a light inspection machine that detects 24,000 bottles per hour as an example. It works 8 hours a day. The light inspection machine can detect 192,000 bottles a day, while the general light inspection speed is 14,000-15,000 bottles a day. One machine is equivalent to the workload of 12-13 workers, and the annual production cost can be reduced by 500,000-600,000 yuan.
(3) The test results of the manual light inspection machine are unstable. Due to the large subjective factors and poor repeatability of this method, the light inspection personnel have high labor intensity, are easily fatigued, and are easily affected by emotions and physical conditions. As a result, different judgments may be made for products of the same quality, resulting in false inspections or missed inspections. For automatic detection of lamps, after setting appropriate detection parameters and accuracy, continuous and stable test results can be output.
(4) Artificial light detection has relatively large restrictions on the product detection range and has certain requirements for drugs and packaging materials. For example, for colorless and transparent glass bottles, the liquid is relatively light, and artificial light detection can produce relatively accurate test results. However, it is impossible to detect dark glass bottles, plastic bottles and dark concentrated liquid drugs, or it is just a formality. For fully automatic light inspection machines, the detection of products containing dark liquids and dark packaging materials can be achieved by selecting special light sources or cameras and other components with specific detection parameters. The compatibility detection range is very wide.
