【 Main ingredient 】 Albendazole
[Properties] This product is a suspension solution of fine particles. After standing, the fine particles precipitate and become a uniform white or white-like suspension after shaking.
【 Pharmacological action 】 Antiparasitic drug. Albendazole has a broad-spectrum repellent effect, and nematodes are sensitive to it. Tapeworm and fluke also have strong effects, but it is not effective against schistosoma. The mechanism of its action is that after binding with β-tubulin in nematode, it prevents it from polymerizing with β-tubulin to form microtubules, thus affecting cell reproduction processes such as mitosis, protein assembly and energy metabolism in nematode. This product not only has a strong effect on adult insects, but also has a strong effect on immature insects and larvae, and has an egg killing effect. The affinity of albendazole to C. elegans microtubulin is significantly higher than that of mammalian microtubulin, so the toxicity to mammalian microtubulin is minimal.
【 Function and use 】 Antihelminthic drug. It is used to treat nematodiasis, tapeworm disease and fluoriasis in livestock and poultry.
[Usage and dosage] by this product. For internal administration: one dose, 0.05 ~ 0.1ml per 1kg body weight; Cattle and sheep 0.1 ~ 0.15ml; Pig 0.05 ~ 0.1ml; Dogs 0.25 ~ 0.50ml; Poultry 0.1 ~ 0.2ml.
[Adverse reactions] The use of albendazole in early pregnancy may be associated with teratogenicity and embryonic toxicity.
