Indications:

• Prevention of premature luteinizing hormone (LH) surges in women undergoing controlled ovarian hyperstimulation in assisted reproductive technologies (ART) such as in-vitro fertilization (IVF).

Mechanism of Action: Cetrorelix works by competitively blocking the GnRH receptors on the pituitary gland, thus preventing the release of LH and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). This inhibition prevents premature ovulation, allowing for more controlled ovarian hyperstimulation.
