5.Character:  It is brown scaly crystalline or granular, or brownish yellow powder, odorless, having salty and slightly iron. It is easily soluble in water and insoluble in ethanol. It is easy to dissolve moisture in the air and unstable to light.

6.Usage: Nutritional supplements (iron fortifier); used as blood tonic for iron deficiency anemia; also used as food additive; for photographic, pharmaceutical industry; for microbial culture.
