Mainly used for bacterial dysentery, enteritis, cholera, can also be used for typhoid fever, paratyphoid fever, giardiasis, trichomoniasis and so on. It can be used in combination with antacids and other drugs to treat antral sinusitis caused by Helicobacter pylori.
