Product Characters
Under normal temperature and pressure, the product is a colorless gas, can be compressed into colorless liquid with a scent of sweetish flavor;
Its melting point is -97.7℃, its boiling point is -23.7℃, flash point is below -40℃. Its relative density is 0.996 g/cm3(20℃);
It is slightly soluble in water and easily dissolved in chloroform, ether, ethanol and acetone. It has no causticity.
Main Application
It can be used as raw material for agrochemical, pharmaceutical, organic silicon and synthetic rubber sectors. It is an important methylating agent in organic synthesis.
