Properties
Anhydrous products is white powder and Semi-granular, melting point is at 190 ℃.Dihydrate products is colorless crystal, relative density at 1.915 g/cm3, melting point at 57.4℃. All easily soluble in water, but not in organic solution.
Dihydrate type contains one or two molecules of water of hydration and is slightly hygroscopic.The hydrated forms occur as white or transparent crystals or granules. All forms are freely soluble in water, but are insoluble in alcohol. The pH of a 1:100 solution is between 4.1 and 4.7.
Application
It is mainly used as buffering agent, emulsification agent, nourishment, etc.
