Moxifloxacin and Sodium Chloride Injection

Moxifloxacin hydrochloride and sodium chloride injection for the treatment of infectious diseases. To reduce the occurrence of resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of moxifloxacin hydrochloride and other antimicrobial agents, moxifloxacin hydrochloride should only be used to treat infections that have been proven or are strongly suspected to be caused by sensitive bacteria.

If culture and drug susceptibility information is available, continue to use or switch to another drug based on the results.

In the absence of such data, the epidemiology and sensitivity profiles of local pathogenic bacteria may contribute to the empirical selection of therapeutic agents.

Appropriate culture and susceptibility tests should be performed prior to treatment to isolate and identify the microorganism causing the infection and to determine its sensitivity to moxifloxacin hydrochloride.
