Recombinant Human Long Arg3 Insulin-like Growth Factor-1

Recombinant Human IGF-1 produced with E. coli expression system makes that IGF-1 has a brilliant prospect in application. We inserted into IGF-1 gene E. coli expression vectors, and then cloned the vector into host bacteria, finally, achieved the recombinant expression strains. In order to get recombinant Human IGF-1, the recombinant strains are then subjected to fermentation, culture and a series of purification process. The recombinant Human IGF-1 includes the same amino acid composition with natural IGF-1 except for 13 amino acids. The third amino acid (Glu) of the recombinant Human IGF-1 was replace with Arg, therefore, the recombinant Human IGF-1 was called L-R3-IGF1. The recombinant Human IGF-1 has 100% biologic activity of IGF-1, which can regulate growth of cell by combining with its receptor. Compare with natural IGF-1, the recombinant Human IGF-1 has a higher efficiency for combining with its receptor and can be used for clinical medicine and cell culture.
