Product Description
Sodium Bromide (NaBr) powder is a single salt used to form clear- brine work-over and completion fluids. These fluids are used where formation pressures require densities from 8.4 to 12.8 1b/gal (1,007 to 1,534 kg/m) or where the formation waters contain high concentrations of bicarbonate and sulfate ions. NaBr can be mixed with NaCl to obtain densities up to 12.8 1b/gal (1,534 kg/m). NaBrl NaCI systems are more economical than pure NaBr solutions
Applications
The photosensitive industry is used to prepare film photosensitive solution, diuretics and sedatives in medicine, synthetic perfume in perfume industry and brominating agent in printing and dyeing industry. In addition, it is also used in organic synthesis and other aspects: Micro Determination of cadmium, production of bromide; inorganic and organic synthesis; photographic paper. Pharmaceutical industry as diuretics and sedatives, in the treatment of neurasthenia, nervous insomnia, mental excitement and so on.
