Soluble effect of different cyclodextrin on Albendazole

Albendazole(ABZ) is an imidazole derivative broad-spectrum enteroid drug.It was discovered by the GlaxoSmithKline Animal Health Laboratory in 1972.Abbidazole has been included in the WHO List of Essinal Drugs Standards and is one of the most important essential health drugs.But abendazole is insoluble in water, so it absorbs slowly in the intestine.Therefore, the β-cyclodextrin (β-CD), hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (HP-β-CD), methyl-β-cyclodextrin (M-β-CD), γ-cyclodextrin(γ-CD)and the dissolution effect of ABZ at different temperatures.

The results show that all four cyclodextrin can have a significant effect on benidazole (ABZ). At the same temperature and the same dosage, the order of HP-β-CD>M-B-CD>γ-CD>β-CD, package can be formed stably and is related to temperature. The optimal dissolution temperature of HP-B-CD, M-β-CD,γ-CD and β-CD is 25℃, 35℃, 35℃ and 30℃。Conclusion: Four cyclodextrin showed obvious solubilization on ABZ and HP-B-CD.
