As early as in 1964 when we were founded, we were only a small factory with several hundred employees producing Monosodium Glutamate(MSG). Later in 1992, the state-owned Zhaoqing MSG factory turned into a joint-stock company and became one of the eight enterprises of joint-stock revolution in Guangdong Province. In August 1994, Star Lake Bioscience was listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange with its abbreviation: Star lakeBioscience, and stock code: 600866. StarLake Bioscience held 521 million shares capitals in total of which are unlimited sales shares. Now StarLake Bioscience has over 2,700 employees. Now we are a public company engaged in G&D manufacture and distribution of biochemical products for the pharmaceutical industry, the food additive industry and the feed additive industry. Today we are the largest manufacturer on globe of Ribavirin, Inosine, L-Proline. And so far we are also the largest producer of I+G food additive in China. Since 2005 we even became one of the largest Chinese producers of L-threonine feed grade.
