To tally with the rapid development of the pharmaceutical packaging industry and meet the increasing enthusiasm for exhibition of Chinese and overseas suppliers of pharmaceutical packaging materials and drug delivery systems year by year, InnoPack China will be further expanded the exhibition scale in 2018 and be moved to Hall N5 where has a larger area, and Hall N8 Pharmaceutical Packaging Excellence Pavilion will be added, to offer more stand choices to exhibitors of pharmaceutical packaging materials and drug delivery systems. The two halls are adjacent to 3# Entrance Hall and Hall E8 for FSMP (Foods for Special Medical Purpose), to attract both pharmaceutical and health product industry visitors, to provide strong guarantee for the exhibition effects of enterprises. In addition, Hall N8 will bring more optimized and convenient exclusive experiences to exhibitors and visitors, in combination with hot activities such as International Summit for Pharmaceutical Packaging & Drug Delivery System, and Innovative Pharmaceutical Packaging Solution Show.

The International Summit for Pharmaceutical Packaging & Drug Delivery System, a concurrent summit supporting InnoPack China, has attracted the active participation of Chinese and overseas pharmaceutical enterprises and suppliers since first held in 2013. Leading experts from Institutes for Control of Packaging Material and Pharmaceutical Excipient of National Institutes for Food and Drug Control of China, CFDA Research and Inspection Center of Pharmaceutical Packaging Materials, China National Shanghai Center for New Drug Safety Evaluation and Research, Shanghai Food and Drug Packaging Material Control Center, Drug Packaging Material Department of Zhejiang Institute for Food and Drug Control, GSK, J & J, Abbott, Baxter, Hengrui, and Boehringer Ingelheim attended the summit as guest speaker and made speeches on relevant themes.

The summit will be held again during the exhibition in 2018, to furnish the industry practitioners an excellent platform to analyze Chinese and overseas policies and regulations, discuss global latest trends and development opportunities, and introduce the innovative development of solid preparation and injection preparation packaging and drug delivery methods and the new design ideas.
