Pharma Tech Industries Appoints Plant Manager

Pharma Tech Industries has appointed Mike Greene to the role of plant manager for its Union, MO facility. Mr. Greene will oversee all operations at the plant, one of two primary manufacturing facilities for the CMO. Pharma Tech’s other production plant is located in Royston, GA.  
 

Mr. Greene has broad experience in global logistics and supply chain strategies. His career has spanned manufacturing management duties in a variety of industries, including pharmaceuticals, injection molded plastics and food & beverage. Most recently, he served as senior operations manager for Young Dental, where his key responsibilities ranged from procurement to operations management.
 
"Mr. Greene’s extensive record of industry leadership and supply chain expertise highlight his capabilities as plant manager," said Tu T. Tran, vice president of sales and marketing of Pharma Tech Industries. "His exceptional analytical and communications skills will facilitate daily operations at the Union plant and guide employees to success."
 
The Union plant recently expanded to add approximately 55,000 sq.-ft. of workspace, including a 20,000-sq.-ft. building housing an analytical/microbial lab. The facility also features a new high-speed bottling line which includes premium unscrambling, filling, checkweighing, metal detection, capping, induction sealing, bundling and casepacking equipment.  It is capable of filling speeds up to 300 bottles per minute, with a bottle size capacity of 5" in diameter and 10" in height.
