Eplerenone Dosage

For adults with high blood pressure, the initial dose is 50 mg by mouth once daily and may be increased to 50 mg by mouth every 12 hours. For patients with heart failure, the initial dose is 25 mg by mouth once daily and may titrate to a maximum dose of 50 mg once daily as tolerated.

Side Effects of Eplerenone

Side effects may include hyperkalemia, cough, dizziness, fatigue, abdominal pain, albuminuria, hypercholesterolemia, and hypertriglyceridemia.
