AT Protein A Diamond Ultra is an innovative affinity resin made by coupling alkali-resistant Protein A with a high-rigidity agarose matrix. The optimized resin pore size helps with the increasing in binding capacity of the antibody. The resin is suitable for capturing monoclonal antibodies or Fc fusion proteins from a large amount of cell culture media, as well as polyclonal antibodies from ascites fluid or plasma.
The resin can be cleaned in place with 0.1-0.5M NaOH, which avoids the use of expensive and corrosive cleaning reagents, effectively cutting costs. In addition, compared with AT Protein A Diamond Plus, the new resin enjoys higher binding capacity, as well as lower production cost due to the smaller CV selected in scale-up process.
The resin has the following characteristics:
High DBC: ≥75mg/mL , significant improvement in purification efficiency
High pressure: high rigid agarose beads, particle size 60μm, max pressure 5 bar
Low back pressure: back pressure lower than 2 bar when flow rate ≥300cm/h(BXK300/500,H=20cm)
Excellent alkaline stability: protein A ligands which allows the use of 0.1~0.5M NaOH for CIP.
Easy to scale-up: good lot-to-lot consistency, ensures stability in product quality and production.
