Standard: USP/FCC/BP 
Properties: Yellow-gray or light yellow-green powder or granules, slightly caramel odor, 1 gram of sample is soluble in about 10 mL of water under slight heating. Almost insoluble in alcohol.
Properties and Uses: Mainly used as nutritional products and dietary additives.
