Through our Integrated Enzyme Directed Evolution, we maximize the enzyme productivity and performance for commercial chemical production. Our Integrated Enzyme Directed Evolution can customize the identified enzyme to your special needs in your chemical reactor, be it the demand for superior enzyme activity, stereoselectivity and/or regioselectivity, or the need for using the enzyme in the presence of organic solvent, extreme pH, and challenging temperature.
We go further than typicalclassic enzyme directed evolution. At Enzymaster we combine and integrateparallel approaches with comprehensive consideration over all aspects of commercialized enzymatic catalysis. In parallel to enzyme directed evolution to engineer the enzymatic performance, the technology for enzyme production is optimized, and the enzymatic catalysis process for chemical manufacture is were optimized and scaled up.
Depending on the performance of the starting enzyme, the duration of the Integrated Enzyme Directed Evolution varies from three months to two years. Our Integrated Enzyme Directed Evolution is monitored at multiple checkpoints which are defined with concrete milestones and timelines. The results at each checkpoint are reviewed and the strategy for the remaining project is adjusted accordingly. For high risk project, we offer a proof of concept research*.
* Proof of Concept Enzyme Directed Evolution: For high risk R&D project a proof of concept research can be initiated to evaluate the feasibility of improving enzyme performance through directed evolution and/or process development. For POC purpose one to two rounds of evolution will be undertaken to evaluate the achievable improvement in enzyme performance; and if appropriate, process parameters can also be preliminarily optimized.
